Art For Everybody Premiered at SXSW

Colorist Taylor Black worked on the documentary film from Editor-turned-Director Miranda Yousef which explores the secret work of artist Thomas Kinkaide. Called the “Painter of Light,” his work was bright, colorful and well marketed to American Evangelicals in the 1990s. After his death, his daughters uncovered a treasure trove of previously unseen, ‘dark’ paintings influenced by the battles with his personal demons that ultimately led to his death in 2012.
